Where did July go?! I feel like time is flying by and I can’t believe it’s already August. I don’t know about you but I am really excited for the second half of this year. This past weekend, Joe and I, took a trip to Vero Beach to celebrate being married for 6 months and a new and exciting chapter for our shop (he’s a brilliant mechanic!).

We needed this vacation! Our first few months of marriage were very challenging, you can read about that here. The last 3 months have been so much better which I’ll share more about later. We really loved Vero and plan on going back for sure.

Here are a few things that I’ve been loving this month.

1. Chopped Salad Kits – I’m typically not a salad lover especially when I make them at home. There’s so many things you have to wash and chop and it’s a lot of work for just a salad. Yeah, I said that salad lovers, just a salad. BUT then on a whim I bought a couple chopped salad kits from Aldi and LOVED them! I just had an entire bag for lunch on Monday. Let me know if you try one 🙂
2. This nail UV LED light. A coworker of mine recommended this to me after I had complemented her nails multiple times. I’ve used it twice now and it’s SO easy and budget friendly. I bought these nail polishes to try; polish set and top and base coat.
3. Yasso dessert bars! A super popular blogger I recently started following was always recommending them and I thought, why not? I tried them and they are delicious!! I’m trying to make some smarter food choices while still enjoying the good stuff. This has been a super easy switch. So far I’ve had the cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, and s’mores; all good! **chocolate peanut butter is the BEST!!**
4. Young Living Seedling Wipes – I use these suckers every night. I HATE washing my face at night out of sheer laziness so I always make sure I have makeup remover wipes on my bedside table. They smell like lavender (the best) and are incredibly gentle. They have a whole line called Seedlings, which is technically baby stuff, but I love these and the linen spray they have. You need to try!5. Gilmore Girls – this is definitely in my very tippy top favorite shows of all time; this and The Office. My best friend has been watching the series for the first time while she’s on maternity leave and it gave me a hankering (southern speak) to      re-watch the series for the 600th time. Little did I know my husband would watch it with me! It’s been such a fun show to watch together and he will deny this but he actually really likes it…sorry babe 🙂
